About Two Mountain Farm
The farm is located on the sloping land above the flood plains of the Blackwater River in Andover, NH. The local landscape is comprised of rolling hills that lead west to Mt. Kearsarge and north to Ragged Mountain.
Ecologically speaking the area includes mixed deciduous and coniferous woodland, a sandy-loam soil substrate, and is host to numerous woodland, meadow and ecotone animals including fox, deer, bear, racoon, otter, turkey, owl, moose, and many species of birds.
The land was first worked in 1769 by Joseph Severance and remained in his family for three generations. In 1950 Mary Anne Broshek’s family purchased the property and she has for years been working to improve the soil quality while cultivating it in line with organic and biodynamic principals.
Mary Anne recognizes the huge challenges that young farmers face when starting out on their own. She has offered a rare and wonderful partnership by which I am able to grow on her land. In my fifth season of growing, I still have a lot to learn, but I am on my way!
I am blessed to be working with land that is so steeped in history and future potential, and I am proud to be sharing the land’s bounty with you!
Hi:
I work with Caren Swanson at Tracy Library and am wondering if you still have shares available for your summer CSA. Thanks for your assistance. I can be reached via e-mail at vmanninut@gmail.com.

Awesome. Hopefully I’ll get to visit your farm someday. The bouquets look beautiful.
I understand that you are on Tucker Mt. Named after my wife’s ancestors
Actually, I’m on Shaw Hill–a different part of town, but have a number of friends up on Tucker Mt. Seems like the Bakers were a major family up there, does that sound right?
Gratuliere zum gelungenen Bauernhof,
gefällt uns sehr gut
